Autograph letter signed, dated "Jeudi matin [21.04.1892]" by the French painter. Degas addresses the Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot (1841-1895), wife  of Eugène Manet (1833-1892), the brother of the artist Edouard: "Chère Madame, est-il encore temps? Je trouve ce matin votre lettre à l'atelier, et à la façon dont votre domestique me poursuivait je dois penser que j'avais à aller de suite...".
