SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - BECQUEREL Antoine Henri (1852 - 1908) - Autograph letter signed

He studied science at the Ecole Polytechnique and became a physics engineer at the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées. On 24 January 1896, he announced his discovery of nuclear radiation to the Académie des Sciences. In 1903 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics along with Pierre and Marie Curie.
