SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - ROUX César (1857 - 1934) - Autograph letter signed

Studied medicine at the University of Bern, where he obtained his doctorate in 1880. He then moved to Lausanne, where in 1887 he became head of the surgery department at the cantonal hospital. In the same year, he was appointed professor of external pathology and gynaecology at the University of Lausanne.
Autograph letter signed Mont-la-Ville, 16.09.1930:"...je ne me suis jamais intéressé aux questions financières et je n'y comprends absolument rien ..."; Four autograph letters signed and a fragment on different formats.
