SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - KLEIN Wim (1912 - 1996) - Autograph dedication signed

A prodigious calculator, he worked at the Mathematical Institute in Amsterdam, then performed in circuses before being hired at CERN. His natural gifts were channelled into scientific calculations that the computers of the 1930s and 60s were only able to help with to a limited extent.
