SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - PAINLEVE Paul (1914 - 1933) - Autograph letter signed

In 1883, he entered the Ecole Normale Supérieure, passed the agrégation and then the doctorate. He taught at a number of higher education establishments. He was a member of the Académie des Sciences and became its president in 1818.
