SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - HEIM Albert (1849 - 1937) - Autograph letter signed

Joined the Swiss Alpine Club at the age of 17. He studied natural sciences in Zurich and Berlin, then taught geology at the ETH Zurich. His "Geology of Switzerland" is still referred to today. He also researched glaciers.
