SCIENCE AND MEDICINE - BERNARD Charles Jean (1876 - 1967) - Typed letter signed
Description
After completing his doctorate in 1905, he became head of the scientific laboratories at the Botanical Garden in Buitenzorg (Java). He was director of the experimental tea plantation station. From 1928 to 1933, he was Director of the Department of Agriculture, Industry and Commerce of the Dutch East Indies.
Typed letter signed to Paul Langer, Genève, 28.12.1952: “pour essayer de sauver la belle allée de marronniers du domaine de Changins…”. 1 p. In-4.
