Studied piano at the Budapest Conservatoire, then at the Sorbonne. A philosopher, he was a systems theorist and theorist of the whole. In 1947 he won the Grand Prize at the Geneva Piano Competition, then moved to the USA and gave concerts all over the world. From 1966 to 1984, he taught philosophy at Yale. Since 1986 he has lived in Tuscany. Founding member of the Club of Rome and the Club of Budapest. Autograph letter signed 13.11.1967 to Mme de Hodassy with envelope; Two printed concert program signed and dated (faded), 15.10.1967.
