MUSIC - BACKHAUS Wilhelm (1884 - 1969) - Two photographs signed

Leipzig Conservatory. In 1930 he moved to Lugano and took Swiss nationality. He is particularly famous for his interpretations of Beethoven and Brahms. He died in Villach, where he was due to give a concert.
