MUSIC - RIBAUPIERRE Mathilde de (1885 - 1950) - Printed concert program signed

She studied piano with Rudolf Ganz and Fraancisco de Lacerda. She was the elder sister of Emile and André-Paul, both violinists, and grew up in an affluent environment that encouraged her musical aspirations. In 1912 she became a piano teacher at the Lausanne Conservatoire, where she disliked the formalism. She left this institution to open classes in Vevey, Montreux, Lausanne and Château d'Oex.
