MUSIC - KOVACH André (1915 - 2005) - Signed concert program

After a Latin-Greek baccalaureate, he hesitated between painting and the theatre, but enrolled at the Faculty of Law in Budapest. On the advice of his father, he opted for a musical career and entered the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied piano, organ, conducting and composition. He left for Vienna and Strasbourg to complete his training as a conductor. In 1950 he went to Brazil, returned to Belgium in 1955 and finally settled in Lausanne in 1962.
