LITERATURE - THIBON Gustave (1903 - 2001) - Autograph dedication signed

A literature enthusiast from an early age, he left school at 13. Marked by the First World War, he spent his early youth in London and then Italy. After his military service in North Africa, he returned to his village at the age of 23. A farmer-philosopher, Catholic, monarchist and self-taught, he was a friend of Simone Weil. Autograph dedication on a subscription card to lectures at Orbe College: "avec ma foi dans la jeunesse".
