LITERATURE - ROSTAND Edmond (1868 - 1918) - Autograph letter signed

Studied law in Paris, was called to the bar but did not practise. On 28 December 1897, he presented "Cyrano de Bergerac" at the Porte Saint Martin theatre: it was a triumph at the Académie Française in 1901.
Autograph letter signed (05.11.1910): "... j'ai fait un long trajet en auto par Pau et n'ai pas eu mon courrier pendant huit jours.” 1 p in-8.
