HISTORY - DALADIER Edouard (1884 - 1970) - Signed printed photograph
Description
Mayor of Carpentras in 1911. In 1924, he was Minister for the Colonies. In January 1933, he became Prime Minister, but his government lasted only seven months. In 1936, when Léon Blum became Prime Minister, he was Minister for War. In April 1938, he was once again Prime Minister. On 29 September, he signed the Munich Agreement with Hitler, Chamberlin and Mussolini. After the war, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1946 and retired from politics in 1958.
