LITERATURE - AICARD Jean (1848 - 1921) - Manuscript

Studied law at Aix-en-Provence. Regionalist poet and novelist (Poèmes de Provence 1874; Maurin des Maures 1908). He came to Paris in 1867 and was an immediate success. During the First World War, he stayed with his family in Toulon. In 1894 he became president of the Société des gens de lettres. Académie Française 1909. 6-page manuscript of a short story entitled "Margot la Pie", signed.
