HISTORY - BHUMIBOL Adulyade (1927 - 2016) - Autograph document

Born in the USA in 1933, he followed his mother to Lausanne, where he studied at the Ecole Nouvelle de Chailly, then at university. In 1946, he succeeded his brother, who had mysteriously died. After a period of regency, during which he completed his studies, he returned to Thailand in 1950 to marry and be crowned under the dynastic name of Rama IX.
