Studied law in Warsaw. At the age of 16, he joined the Otherwiseite forces to fight anti-Semitism. In 1940, he emigrated to Israel and became commander of a group of terrorists acting against Arabs, British soldiers and civilians. In 1949, he was elected to the Knesset, where he represented the Conservatives before becoming Likud leader in 1973. In 1977, he became Prime Minister. He shares the Nobel Peace Prize with Anwar Sadat.
