HISTORY - VALERA Eamon (1882 - 1975) - Signed printed photograph

A mathematics teacher, he was elected Member of Parliament in 1917. He was the first Speaker of Parliament. In 1938, he was elected President of the General Assembly of the League of Nations. In 1959, he was elected President of Ireland.
