Gandhi wanted India's independence, not from the British, but from prejudice, social inequality, discrimination and so on. His goal was freedom for all through Love and Truth.He saw villages where life was not based on a traditional pyramid scheme, but centered on the individual willing to give his life for his village. The basis of society would be equality for all, renunciation of luxury and a life of humility and simplicity.

Included: Kaur Amrit (Secretary to Gandhi) (Lucknow, 02.02.1889 - 02.10.1964). After graduating from Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset, she became Minister of Health in India. In 1919, she met Gandhi in Bombay. She adopted his vision of life. She co-founded the Indian Women's Conference Party, serving as its secretary in 1930 and president in 1933, and as Gandhi's secretary for 16 years from 1934.She was president of the WHO in 1950. Autograph letter signed dated New Dehli, 05.04.1947 to PL2: "…je regrette que ce n'est pas possible pour lui à vous obliger - parce qu'il ne donne jamais son autographe sans recevoir quelque chose pour la cause des "Harijans" qu'il a épousée pour longtemps. Il faut lui payer six francs suisses pour l'autographe …”.
