HISTORY - RHEE Syngman (1875 - 1965) - Signed printed photograph

Graduated in 1907 from George Washington Universitiy, where he was a member of the prestigious Enosinian Society. He obtained a Master of Art from Havard and a doctorate in political science from Princeton. While Japan occupied Korea, he was elected President of the government-in-exile. In 1948, he became the first president of South Korea.
