HISTORY - MALAN Daniel François (1874 - 1959) - Autograph card signed

Studied theology with doctorate at Utrecht University, Calvinist preacher, columnist, politician. From 1905 to 1914, he was itinerant minister in South Africa, Rhodesia and the Belgian Congo. He was elected to parliament in 1918. He was Prime Minister of RAS from 1948 to 1954.
Autograph card signed and dated 05.11.1922 to M. Bugnon: "Merci beaucoup pour votre gentille et fraternelle invitation nous ouvrant votre home pour la durée de notre mission à Lausanne…”.
