HISTORY - LOVETT Robert (1895 - 1986) - Signed printed photograph

Studied law at Yale and administration at Harvard. He was a lieutenant in the naval air force during the First World War. In 1950, he became Secretary of Defense and was responsible for rearming the US Army. He retired in 1953.
