HISTORY - SPAATZ Carl (1891 - 1974) - Signed printed photograph

He graduated from West Point in 1914 and became a pilot two years later. After the First World War, he was promoted to Major. During the Second World War, he was in England to plan the American air force's efforts in Europe. It was under his command that the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were dropped. In 1946, he was promoted to General of the Air Force.
