HISTORY - AURIOL Vincent (1884 - 1966) - Signed printed photograph

A lawyer, socialist activist and MP for Muret, he was Minister of Finance under the Front Populaire (June 1936 - June 1937), then Minister of Justice in the Chautemps cabinet (June 1937 - March 1938). He chaired the two constituent assemblies of 1945-46, then the National Assembly. From 1947 to 1954, he was the first President of the Fourth Republic.
