HISTORY - AIREY Terence Sydney (1900 - 1983) - Signed printed photograph

Trained at the Sundhorst Royal Military Academy, he was Director of Special Operations in the Middle East during the Second World War, then rose through the ranks to become Chief of Staff of the Allied Central Mediterranean Command. In 1947, he became Military Governor of the Free Territory of Trieste. He retired in 1954.
