HISTORY - MONTGOMERY Bernard Law (1887 - 1976) - Signed printed photograph

Educated at the Royal Military Academy, he joined the army as an infantry lieutenant in 1908. Between the wars, he was a member of the British General Staff. During the Second World War, he rose through the ranks of the military to become a Field Marshal. From 1951 to 1958 he was deputy commander of NATO forces, retiring that year.
