HISTORY - CONINGHAM Arthur (1895 - 1948) - Signed printed photograph

Served New Zealand as a pilot at the outbreak of the First World War. In 1916, he joined the Royal Flying Corps in England. At the outbreak of the Second World War, he served under Montgomery in the Desert War. He defended an air force doctrine that was adopted by Eisenhower for the US Air Force.
