HISTORY - HENRI IV REUSS-KOESTRITZ (1821 - 1894) - Autograph letter signed

Nobleman, landowner. In 1845, he joined the Prussian army as a lieutenant. He married Louise Caroline, Princess of Sachsen-Altenburg, in Greiz on 27.12.1854. In 1883 he was promoted to major-general, in 1887 to lieutenant-general and in 1892 to general, virtually without ever having been in the army.
Autograph letter signed, dated Ernstbrunn, 28.08.1891 to Mme de Sèvres: "...voudriez-vous avoir l'extrême amabilité de me faire parvenir les autographes de Mr Thomas, votre beau-frère et de Mr Gounod...". 4 pp. In-8.
