HISTORY - HATZFELD François Louis de (1756 - 1827) - Autograph letter signed

He belonged to the Wildenberg-Werther branch. In 1806 he was Governor of Berlin, which he left in 1807 with the rank of Lieutenant General. He was employed on several diplomatic missions. Finally, he was Prussian Minister to the Netherlands and Vienna.
Autograph letter signed, dated Paris, 28.11.1824 to Monsieur Langer, Consul of Prussia in Le Havre: "…prévenu de banqueroute frauduleuse, je vous informe que cet individu vient d'être arrêté à Paris…".
