HISTORY - REINHARD Charles Frédéric (1761 - 1837) - Autograph letter signed

Studied theology in Tübingen. He went to Bordeaux to tutor a Huguenot family. He met the Girondins and followed them to Paris, where he entered diplomatic life. He was minister plenipotentiary in several countries, including the Helvetic Republic in 1800. He succeeded Talleyrand as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Autograph letter signed and dated Berne, 27.09.1830 to Henri Druey: "…j'ai l'honneur de vous envoyer ci-joint le résumé écrit des observations que par ordre du gouvernement je vous ai présentées hier…".
