HISTORY - LOUVOIS François Michel Le Tellier (1639 - 1691) - Letter signed

He assisted his father in his various activities. He was Minister of the King's Council, Minister of State and Secretary of State for War. He was the author of the first modern army. Finally, he was superintendent of buildings, and in this capacity he was responsible for the construction of the Château de Versailles.
