HISTORY - D'ORLEANS Louis-Philippe Albert (1838 - 1894) - Autograph letter signed

He was Prince Royal of France, then the Orleanist pretender to the throne of France under the name Philippe VII. The Comte de Paris was also a fighter and historian of the American Civil War.
Autograph letter signed and dated Château d'Eu, 05.01.1881: "…souhaiter à notre pays de la traverser heureusement et d'échapper aux dangers qui peuvent la menacer…".
