HISTORY - CAMBON Paul (1864 - 1924) - Autograph letter signed

Appointed resident of France in Tunisia in 1882, then resident general in 1885, he organised the protectorate there. Ambassador to London (1898-1920), he promoted the entente cordiale and the Anglo-Russian rapprochement of 1907.
