Description

Louis Auguste, Duke of Berry, would become, upon the death of his two elder brothers, the heir to the throne. His inability to lead the kingdom towards economic, social, and political modernization hastened the onset of the French Revolution. State of the salaries per year of the employees of the Tuileries Palace, starting from the first of July 1790, according to the increases, reductions and deletions made by the King, at Saint-Cloud, July 27, 1790″. 1 p. in folio.
