HISTORY - MONSABERT Joseph Jean Goislard de (1887 - 1981) - Signed printed photograph

Saint Cyr class of 1911. Officer in Morocco and Tunisia. Promoted to general in 1941. He distinguished himself in North Africa. With General Juin, he invaded Italy as far as Tarente, then embarked and, via Toulon, crossed the whole of France as far as Stuttgart. Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour and Military Medal.
