HISTORY - PICQUART Georges (1854 - 1914) - Photograph with dedication ; autograph letter signed

Professor at the Ecole de guerre, then head of the second office, he was convinced of Captain Dreyfus's innocence. He played an important role in the Affair and was expelled from the army, imprisoned, then rehabilitated and promoted to brigadier general. He became Minister of War under Clemenceau.
