HISTORY - DEVILLE Edouard Gaston (1849 - 1924) - Visiting card signed

A French surveyor, he served in the navy. He conducted hydrographic studies in the South Seas and Peru. He emigrated to Canada in 1875. He was the first to use photogrammetry to make geographical maps.
