HISTORY - JUIN Alphonse (1888 - 1967) - Photograph signed

In 1910, he entered Saint-Cyr at the same time as de Gaulle. At de Gaulle's request, he was posted to North Africa. In 1914, he commanded a Moroccan brigade in Bordeaux, which was sent to Amiens, where he was wounded. He returned to North Africa. He distinguished himself during the Second World War and was promoted to Marshal. Académie française in 1952.
