HISTORY - FOIX Germaine of (1488 - 1536) - Letter signed

Letter signed "La Reyna", dated Valladolid, 31.12.1518 by the Queen of Aragon, wife to Ferdinand II of Aragon. Germaine addresses the Royal notary Mossen Pedro Celdran, concerning the payment of a salary to 'Maxim de Omerea', who was Germana's cupbearer. The queen orders Mossen Pedro Celdxan to pay Maxim de Omerea 10 gold ducats per month, starting on 11 March 1518. Countersigned by her secretary. Letters by this early Spanish Queen are very rare. 1 p. In-folio.
