Creases, slight moisture stains. Pencil note (in another hand) at the bottom margin: "campagne de Rome en hiver effet de pluie..." (referring to Corot's painting discussed in the letter: "Campagne de Rome" (1827), at the Musée des Beaux Arts in Angers (France).
