(Science and Feminism) Colette Yver (Segré, 1874 - Rouen, 1953)Lot of 23 documents (1 telegram, 22 autograph letters signed) dated 1907-1908 by the French writer, awarded in 1907 with “prix Femina” (once called "prix Vie Heureuse") for her "Princesse de science". Some letters are addressed to Jeanne Loiseau (a.k.a. Daniel Lesueur, 1854-1921) and others addressees, deal with contemporary literary issues and her just published novel "Princesse de science”. Colette Yver takes a close interest in various female characters struggling with apparently contradictory aspirations between the public (Medicine, science) and the domestic (motherhood, family) For a total of 80 pp. In-8° and on in-32° cardboard.
